“Baba’s” story begins in the 1990’s when my first nephew could not say Aunt Robyn, so he called me Baba. I have been known to my family as Baba ever since. When I decided to open a coffee shop, what else could I call it but Baba’s? Moultrie, Georgia is where my father was born and raised and where my family comes together. We would visit every year for the Alligood reunion that has been going on for over 100 years now. When I decided to make Moultrie my home, I wanted to get involved in the future and growth of our city. I love it here and the wonderful people that make up our community.

We are excited to be part of the growth of Downtown Moultrie and open a gourmet coffee shop that serves fair trade organic coffee, high quality infused tea, breakfast and lunch. We want to be your place where friendships begin, relationships are deepened, stories and laughter are shared, and everyday is filled with a little more joy. It is a comfortable place to meet with friends and colleagues, hold Bible studies, Book Clubs, Tea Parties, Study Groups, and so much more.

Together, we are part of a story bigger than ourselves. God, family and friends have been with us every step of the way with nothing but encouragement. Thank you for being part of our lives here at Baba’s.
